BCA(Bachelor of Computer Application) is four years(8 semesters) academic course which is affiliated with Tribhuvan University, Pokhara University, and Purbanchal University.
BCA Course in Tribhuvan University
Tribhuvan University has launched the BCA program under the faculty of humanities and social science from the academic year 2074/2075. Around 120 colleges are running BCA courses with affiliated Tribhuvan University.
The BCA program on TU has mainly focused to develop high-quality computer application users and developers. In this course, there are many opportunities available for students who are mainly interested in coding and designing.

Eligibility and fee criteria of BCA course
For studying a BCA course in Nepal, one must meet the following criteria:
- students must pass all subjects from +2 and contain a minimum D+ or 45%.
- students must pass the entrance examination which is conducted by TU FOHSS.
- Students from any stream can apply.
The fee structure may be different from college to college. It may require 3.5lakh to 4lakh in government college likewise, in private college fees may depend on the facilities provided by the college.
